PINOT NOIR

Unlike its white counterpart Chardonnay, the great red grape of Burgundy had a difficult time coming to prominence as one of the great varietals in the United States. In recent years winemakers have perfected their craft, movie-goers saw this varietal in a different light, and now Pinot Noir is very quickly gaining in popularity. While some styles still tend to be light in fruit and pale in color, we've concentrated on livelier, more full-bodied, and complex versions. The red berry and cherry flavors work great with our lighter meats and grilled fish.
